A Clinical Psychologist licensed in the State of New York, Dr. Lobl has maintained a successful private practice in midtown Manhattan since 2005.
Dr. Lobl’s first career was as an attorney and his psychotherapy clients have always included attorneys. The findings of the American Bar Association’s National Task Force on Lawyer Well Being report (August 2017) convinced him to develop Lobl Law Health so that he might bring his training and experience in the law and in mental health to the task of promoting lawyer and staff wellbeing at law firms.
In 2017, the American Bar Association’s National Task Force on Lawyer Well Being reported findings that showed high rates of problem drinking, depression, and anxiety among lawyers. Since then, many law firms have directed considerable efforts towards improving the wellbeing of their attorneys.
